Facts about the facility
Skimore Kongsberg can offer 12 km of slopes with 5 lifts and a total capacity of 6,000 people per hour. A 4-seater express lift takes you from Funkelia all the way to the top of Gruveåsen with a fantastic view of Kongsberg town.
Winter
The slopes in Kongsberg have something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or a more experienced skier. There is a separate family area with a child-friendly lift that ensures the little ones have fun. Kongsberg is known as an eldorado for snowboarders and jib skiers, and of course has its own terrain park. All slopes are floodlit. In our ski inn you can enjoy delicious food in a warm atmosphere, or how about enjoying the view from Sølvstua with a cup of steaming hot chocolate. Kanelsnurren is world famous and you don't want to miss it. In the ski rental you can rent full alpine and snowboard equipment, or have your own skis or boards serviced. In the sports shop you will find everything you need for a day on the slopes. We offer ski lessons for groups or individuals. Skimore Kongsberg has plenty of parking spaces and you can reach Kongsberg in less than 1 hour from Oslo, Drammen, Vestfold and Telemark.
Summer
Our main attraction during the summer months is the Formula G track. The cars are without engines, but we can promise that gravity will give you enough speed and excitement down the paved track with measured turns.
Drop-in only. Use of the slope is of course included in the Skimore membership. All members MUST have a lift pass to take the lift up with the cars.
If you are more interested in cycling, the areas at the top of the facility are an El Dorado for cycling.
The area at the top is also great for hiking. Lots of great areas to explore. The lift takes you quickly and efficiently to the top.

Down on the plain we have lots of activities available, including the possibility of renting a basketball or volleyball court.
You can borrow simple toys from the Welcome Center for a day on the plains.
The sports shop is open with summer goods. In the Welcome Center you can buy tickets for both the lift and the Formula G track.
In Kroa you can buy both hot and cold food and of course our famous homemade cinnamon rolls. And when the sun is shining it's great to sit on the veranda and enjoy the family staying active.
Why not take our new chairlift up and take a dip in Kongens Gruve dam after a short walk or bike ride? Finish with a cinnamon roll and ice cream at Kroa before getting in the car and driving home.
